Recently, miHoYo (HoYoverse) began teasing content for the Zenless Zone Zero 2.7 update. The developers have introduced a new heroine.
The focus is on Nangong Yu — an S-rank character, her attribute is Ether, and her specialty is Intimidation. The girl belongs to the "Bewitching Angels" group.
The ZZZ developers have not yet revealed the gameplay mechanics of Nangong Yu, but they have presented a lore description:
"And now — it's time to pu-nish the good little children... Oh, I see you're already looking forward to it?" — Nangong Yu
"It's just a normal meeting, and you're so nervous... Are you afraid I'll charm you?"
"Okay, okay, I won't tease you anymore!"
"I'll forgive you this time! But next time we'll already be considered old friends, so try to relax!"
"Otherwise... I'll have to make you even more nervous!"
The release of the Zenless Zone Zero 2.7 update is expected in mid-March 2026.
