Last year, dataminers found a mention of the alleged remaster in the files of Assassin's Creed Shadows — at that time, the title was "Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced".
If this is not a mistake, then the artbook for the "remaster" of Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag will be released on March 24, 2026. There has still been no official announcement of the project from Ubisoft.
