Konami returns to its iconic series and announces Castlevania Belmont's Curse. The first trailer for the new 2D platformer was shown at State of Play.
Right from the start, the developers set a dark tone with the slogan: "The Crimson Curse — will your fate blossom in despair or salvation?"
The story unfolds 23 years after the events of Castlevania: Dracula’s Curse and tells the story of a young Belmont who embarks on a journey.
Development is being handled by Konami in collaboration with Evil Empire and Motion Twin — teams known for dynamic, demanding gameplay and spectacular battles. The release is scheduled for 2026.
