A patch broke Resident Evil Village on PS5 Pro - Capcom responded to player complaints

The February update did not install very smoothly.

Recently, the creators of Resident Evil Village returned to the game and released a small update. It added additional voice-over, but a technical issue arose.

Players on PlayStation 5 Pro began complaining that Resident Evil Village had lost support for the Pro version of the console: they could not select the special mode with a higher frame rate.

Capcom acknowledged the issue and released technical patch 1.231 for Resident Evil Village, which once again made the PS5 Pro game mode available:
