Fans of the Warhammer 40,000 tabletop game now have the opportunity to study images of the painted masters of the Maelstrom, Huron Blackheart, as well as miniatures from the battleforce "Lords of the Maelstrom."
As early as February 14, the Warhammer 40,000 team will open pre-orders for the battleforce "Lords of the Maelstrom," as well as for the miniatures of Huron and the masters of the Maelstrom — Garreon the Corpsemaster, Kattar Garrikx, Garlon the Soul Eater, Captain Sargotta, and the Tarellian bounty hunter known as the Executioner.
To prepare people for these new releases, employees of Games Workshop posted online photographs in which Warhammer community artists painted miniatures from the aforementioned sets.
Angelio Di Cello, John Gomez, Lloyd Davis, and Sam Lenz gave players a closer look at Huron Blackheart. He has the "Tyrant's Claw" — a lightning claw combined with a heavy flamer, a power axe, the "Armour of Pride," and an iron halo projecting a powerful energy field.
Nathan Rodriguez, Darcy Bono, Patrick Brampton, Adrian Phillips, and Joshua Hill showed the masters of the Maelstrom in all their glory, accompanying Huron on the battlefield.
Andrew Farrell, Mark Buesing, Vincent Notley, Marko Miladinovich, Kristin Coram, Mikey, Piers Lubinski, and Joshua Hill presented painted versions of the Reave-Captain, Red Corsairs Raiders, and Chaos Space Marine Legionaries.
Benjamin Campbell showcased the Terminators with the upgrade set, while Robert Jones presented the Red Corsairs raid detachment. The sets are expected to appear on store shelves on February 28, 2026.
