Valve recently introduced the February beta update of the Steam client. Players were given the option to specify their PC technical specifications in reviews.
The developers have not yet specified how long they plan to test this feature.
Players will also be able to share information about FPS in games. These data are not planned to be made public for now; instead, they are intended to be used to improve Steam and collect data on the compatibility of users' devices with games:
Added the ability to provide anonymous frame rate data. When this feature is enabled, Steam will collect information about frame rates during gameplay, storing it without linking it to your Steam account, but indicating the type of hardware you are using to play. These data will help us better understand game compatibility and improve Steam.
