God of War: Sons of Sparta was recently released. While some players are happy about the return of the franchise, the author of the original GoW is outraged.
According to David Jaffe, God of War: Sons of Sparta is a "complete *****", "disrespects" the franchise, and overall it is not a very high-quality product.
The creator does not like GoW: Sons of Sparta and he does not recommend this game. He was not impressed by the story, nor by the quality of the voice acting and other aspects of the project (he played for a little over an hour). He considers what he saw to be boring, banal..
He had questions: "what the ***** were they [developers] thinking? what ******* approved this?". The game shows a young Kratos and Jaffe believes that this is not what fans of the franchise wanted to see.
He would very much like to know who at Sony thought that this was the kind of game that gamers wanted to get.
