Recently, PC gamers once again remembered Persona 3 Reload. A hacker with the nickname sagerao announced that he managed to crack Denuvo.
The game received "very positive" reviews on Steam, but the presence of this DRM protection worried some users.
Currently, sagerao's solution is undergoing beta testing: the "crack" only works with AMD processors so far.
A "hypervisor" was used to crack Persona 3 Reload — players will have to disable various Windows protection systems for the "crack" to run. This involves additional risks for the PC.
