Sega was and remains an important part of the gaming industry. In the era of competition in the console market, it was a key player, and its hits remain in the memory of fans for decades.
On February 13, a well-known employee of the company, whom fans called the "creator of the legendary Sega consoles," passed away. The news of his death spread on social networks, in particular through the Beep21 profile. Despite many achievements, Sato stopped actively participating in the company's work around 2000, although he officially remained at Sega until 2003.
He is criticized for the failures of Saturn and Dreamcast, but it is impossible to completely place all responsibility on him. Hideki Sato worked at Sega for decades and participated in the creation of almost every console of the company, including:
