PS6 Won't Get Full RDNA 5 - Insider

New leaks about PS6 have appeared online. One of the insiders on the topic of AMD confirmed an unexpected detail related to RDNA 5 - the architecture that many considered "guaranteed" for PS6.

Insider KeplerL2, known for accurate leaks about AMD components, stated on NeoGAF:

«PS5 is just RDNA1 + ray tracing, there is no magical “customization” from Mark Cerny». And then added: «and by the way - PS6 is not a full RDNA5 either».

If this version is to be believed, Sony will once again choose a mixed approach: instead of a «pure RDNA 5», the console may combine elements of different AMD solutions, as it was in the current generation.

The insider also mentioned memory. According to previous data, PS6 and the new portable PlayStation will receive serious improvements. For PS6, they mention up to 30 GB of GDDR7 and a bandwidth of over 640 GB/s, more than 11% higher than the PS5 Pro.
