Valve Noticed Deadlock Fan Who Spent About 250 Hours in 19 Days Farming Votes for One Heroine

In January, Valve released a major update for Deadlock called Old Gods, New Blood. It introduced six characters, access to which was opened gradually.

Players could influence the order of hero releases by voting. The "votes" used are earned for participating in the game and the first win of the day.

Recently, Valve summarized the statistics and said that a total of 60,776,963 votes were cast, and also noted one active and purposeful player:

The highest number of votes from one player was 813... and they were all cast for Celeste.

Deadlock developers did not specify how much time it took to farm 813 votes. Achieving such a result required playing 750+ matches in 19 days, which translates to 250 to 380 hours — depending on the speed of the game (a match can end in 20 minutes, or it can last for 30+ minutes).
