Journalist Moore’s Law Is Dead, known for his reliable leaks about PlayStation, has confirmed that PS6 relies on RDNA 5. He showed "evidence" in the form of developer documentation, which he also relied on when reporting on PS5 and PS5 Pro.
The name "RDNA 5" is found everywhere in the PS6 documentation. Call it what you want, but Sony and AMD call it RDNA 5. By the way, Sony called PS5 "RDNA 2", and XBOX called XSX "RDNA 2", although technically both platforms have their own architecture. And, by the way, PS5 did pretty well...
Moore’s Law Is Dead added that the first technical details of PS6 may be presented by the end of the year. This is not an announcement of the console itself, but a signal to investors, developers and players about the start of an open discussion about the next generation of PlayStation.
