The project surpassed Hades II in the race for the title of the most popular "roguelike" on Steam. Since the genre is not for everyone, the question arose as to where the cat game is in highest demand. One of the creators publicly disclosed the data — and it came as a surprise.
Tyler Glaiel, who recently reported that Mewgenics had attracted one million players, is very active on X. At a user's request, he published a list of the 10 countries with the highest sales, and Russia was among them.
The achievement looks significant, considering that the game has not been translated into Russian. The developers have already confirmed that the translation is in progress, and for now a fan-made AI-based version can be found online.
