After 17 years, League of Legends will have voice chat - dataminer

Recently, dataminer SkinSpotlights drew the community's attention to Riot Games' possible plans. Judging by his find, the company plans to add a full-fledged voice chat to League of Legends 17 years after its release.

In the code, SkinSpotlights highlighted the characteristic line «VOICE COMMS ABUSE» — this is a new type of complaint about voice chat.

In addition, SkinSpotlights was able to find different types of voice chat: group and team.

It is not yet clear when the League of Legends developers may launch such a voice chat.
