Won't Launch Without RTX 2060 - Lords of the Fallen 2 System Requirements Announced

Lords of the Fallen 2 is growing in ambition. Hexworks and CI Games have revealed details about the sequel. The game runs on Unreal Engine 5, but the processor and RAM requirements remain close to the 2023 version.

The main changes are in the video cards. To run, you need at least an RTX 2060 or Radeon RX 5700. For comfortable gaming, you need an RTX 3080 or RX 6800 XT.

Initially, the project was announced as an Epic Games Store exclusive. But CI Games CEO Marek Tyminski allowed for a revision of plans. This gives a chance for a release on Steam on launch day.

CI Games' Creative Strategist Ryan Hill commented on the reaction to the new materials. He criticized the practice of "blaming players" for failures. After the release of the first part, the studio released more than 70 updates, fixing errors. He explained the success of the sequel's alpha by working with the community:

I'm watching the old rhetoric of "the customer is to blame" resurface in the gaming industry. No gamer wants to spend time, money, and effort only to be disappointed in the gameplay. Almost always, the game is to blame.
In 2023, when Lords of the Fallen came out, it would have been very easy for us to "blame the customers." Instead, we took it calmly, rolled up our sleeves, and released over 70 updates. Three years later, we showed the first alpha versions of Lords of the Fallen 2. And the reaction was incredible. We listened, we acted. And you know what? It worked. But we are still far from finished. Gamers want good games. Period.
