In February 2026, Square Enix marked a new sales milestone for NieR: Automata. The number of copies sold exceeded 10 million.
The initial release of NieR: Automata took place in 2017 on PC and PlayStation 4. Subsequently, the game was ported to other platforms.
Square Enix hasn't announced a new game yet, but fans have hope — a "teaser" appeared in a recent promo video:
