Owners of the original DOA6 received bad news from Koei Tecmo: there will be no upgrade or discount for old players. To play the new version from release, you will have to buy it completely as a separate product.
The information became known after a player's request to Koei Tecmo support. The answer was unambiguous: no special offers are planned for current owners of the game.
The good news is that some of the DLC from the original DOA6 will be allowed to be transferred to Last Round. Details are promised to be announced later, so players with a collection of add-ons can still hope.
Bad news for fans of some characters: guest fighters Mai Shiranui and Kula Diamond will not appear in Last Round, probably due to the expiration of licenses. The game will be released in standard and free versions from release.
Dead or Alive 6 Last Round will be released on June 25, 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
