Cry of Fear developer Andreas Rönnberg recently reminded everyone of himself again. He is preparing a new project:
I am currently working on a new "psychological survival horror" game, similar to my previous projects — Afraid of Monsters and Cry of Fear.
However, he is not yet sure that he will be able to bring the game to release:
I won't promise that I'll finish it, because making games is very difficult. But I'm trying my best. I'm working alone right now. When (or if) I have a solid foundation, I'll probably ask others for help.
Andreas uses photographs for references and textures. He recently realized that the weather he had originally counted on was poorly suited for the gameplay, as "the paths were poorly visible due to the fallen leaves on the ground." Therefore, he went to nature and reshot more than 2 thousand photos, and in total he has collected about 11 thousand photos. The developer noted that "much more" will be required in the future.
