Recently, there have been major reshuffles in Xbox leadership. Against this background, insider and Windows Central journalist Jez Corden wrote on social media:
[Sources] have told me that there are no plans to change the next-gen Xbox strategy at this time (for now). I'll let you know as soon as I have new information.
The well-known screenwriter Chris Avellone reacted sharply to this message. He ridiculed Corden:
I, Supreme Xbox Promotion Agent, knew nothing, but now I'm here to assure you that nothing is changing - despite the changes that have occurred due to the current strategy.
And gave advice to company managers:
If you keep your agency in the dark, they have to work much harder to keep everyone else in the dark. It's just cruel.
Then he added that he has an "allergy to the kind of \"truth\" [of Jez Corden] that is usually called \"lies\"".
