The last major installment, Rayman Legends, was released more than ten years ago. After that, the brand appeared sporadically, including in an add-on to Mario + Rabbids.
Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot told the press that the anniversary edition is "the first step in bringing the brand back." He noted that the company will soon share news about the future of Rayman. According to him, the series played a key role in Ubisoft's early history and still holds a special place for the studio.
Details of new projects are not disclosed. Ubisoft said they are considering different options for developing their famous franchises.
