Developers will provide many options for customizing the aircraft.
1C Game Studios continues to talk about «Korea. IL-2 series». They recently released a diary dedicated to the aircraft customization system:
«Korea» features a much more advanced system of tail numbers than «Great Battles». The maximum number of digits in the numbers is now twice as large, up to eight, and the location and composition of the symbols much better reflect the period of the Korean War. For the MiG-15, the ability to apply red numbers with an outline has been implemented.
Now the aircraft has dynamically changing marks of air victories.
There is a specific point with the design of victory marks - both sides of the conflict used "stars". The developers of «Korea. IL-2 series» tried to make the style of these stars noticeably different, based on available photographs.
Emblems and liveries will also be used to customize the aircraft. The developers noted that "each scheme reproduces with maximum accuracy a specific aircraft that actually existed during that period."
In addition, American pilots will be able to choose the color of their helmets:
While the "red" pilots in the 1950s were still piloting fighters, including jet fighters, in leather helmets, the Americans began to have hard protective helmets with a smooth surface starting in 1946
For those who pre-ordered «Korea. IL-2 series», a set of unique «Aerobatic Teams» paint schemes has been prepared for the MiG-15bis, F-86 Sabre and F-84 Thunderjet
