A new ranking from Famitsu has once again confirmed that the country prioritizes products from Japan.

Players are actively buying new projects, and competition remains high. However, priority is given only to certain games from large studios.

This is the fifth consecutive week that new releases have held the top spot. Relatively fresh releases, Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties from Ryu Ga Gotoku and Dragon Quest VII Reimagined from Square Enix, are currently enjoying special interest and have taken six spots in the ranking in editions for different platforms.
