Recently Barcode Studia published a trailer for the Seen in Liberty City project. Modders decided "with some simplifications" to transfer the story of GTA 3 to Liberty City in 1998, based on the PSP version of GTA: Liberty City Stories.
Enthusiasts promise "many improvements" borrowed from this version of the game. In addition, the project includes "original content from Barcode Studia, inspired by early versions of GTA III, later games in the series, and materials originally planned for other studio projects, but not implemented for various reasons."
The plot remains the same:
A petty criminal named Claude is betrayed and wounded by a girl named Catalina during a bank robbery. However, a fortunate set of circumstances allows him to escape and achieve what he craves most — revenge.
The release date for Seen in Liberty City has not yet been announced, the release is expected "soon."
