It looks like Pearl Abyss will become the main contender for game of the month. Crimson Desert will be released on March 19 and will effectively be left without competitors.
Players in the comments on trailers and gameplay footage are praising the scale of the world, the dynamics of the combat, and the spectacular graphics. The studio is clearly aiming for the segment of major RPGs capable of keeping players engaged for hundreds of hours.
Earlier, March promised a real barrage of releases: Soros (20.03), 007 First Light (27.03), Mouse: P.I. for Hire (19.03), and the possible arrival of Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced (23–30.03). However, most of these games have already been delayed, and only Crimson Desert remains on the March stage.
Experts note that some publishers preferred to move their releases, while Pearl Abyss remains alone on the stage.
In the eyes of players, Crimson Desert is already seen as the giant of March, perhaps unable to compete with GTA VI for the audience’s attention, but a significant threat to any games that dare to schedule their release in March.
