Recently, a modification called Warhammer: Total Rebirth was introduced for the global strategy Total War: Warhammer II, which changes various aspects of the project.
Some improvements and new features:
- The combat system has been rebuilt from scratch. Battles have become more tactical and complex, requiring careful positioning and distribution of units. The strengths and weaknesses of fighters have become more pronounced. The new system is inspired by Total War: Shogun 2.
- Buildings and technologies have been reworked
- The skill tree has been updated
- Siege rework: no more "pocket ladders" and siege towers with a radius of action covering most of the map. New maps have been prepared to replace the old ones to make the siege more like Total War: Medieval 2 and Total War: Attila.
- A number of units and races now have access to "Unit Formations"
The Warhammer: Total Rebirth modification for Total War: Warhammer II is already available in the Steam Workshop, as well as on ModDB.
