In 2027, fans of the "Batman: The Dark Knight Returns" comic series will be able to obtain a new figure of the 55-year-old Bruce Wayne, who sustained minor injuries after a battle with dangerous rivals, thanks to Hot Toys.
This year marks the 40th anniversary of Frank Miller's "Batman: The Dark Knight Returns" comic series, in which a noticeably aged Bruce Wayne dons the superhero costume once again to save Gotham City, which is mired in crime.
This is not the graceful avenger he was in his youth. A stern and massive Batman fights against street gangs, the Joker, and even a government-controlled Superman with furious strength.
Today, Hot Toys presented a new Batman figure from this series. It is a battle-worn Dark Knight in 1/6 scale. Currently, in certain stores, this collectible item can be pre-ordered for 250.40 euros (approximately 23 thousand rubles).
The set includes a 32-centimeter muscular body with 30 points of articulation, a Bruce Wayne head with movable eyes, a Batman head in a blue mask with three interchangeable lower face parts, and six interchangeable hands.
There is also a gray bat suit, a blue cape, a yellow multi-functional belt, blue gauntlets and boots, and a removed mask (attaches to the body when using the Bruce Wayne head).
Accessories include: four batarangs, one batarang on a wire, one rifle, and a special stand with the comic logo. The figure is expected to be released in January — June 2027.
