After a slight delay (the release was originally planned for November 2025), the authors of The Legend of Khiimori presented a gameplay trailer and confirmed the premiere date.
The game will be released in early access on Steam on March 3, 2026. Later, the project will also appear on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and Series S.
The project is described as "SnowRunner on horseback," and some compare the gameplay to Death Stranding. Instead of trucks, there are horses. The player will have to deliver goods between Mongolian villages of the 13th century, facing deep snow and severe frosts. There will be no battles with people.
There is a base with different breeds of horses that can be bred, selecting characteristics for the route: some tolerate the cold better, others are suitable for deserts or mountain valleys. Weapons are allowed to be used only for hunting or scaring away wolves.
