Rise of Piracy was recently launched on PC in Steam. IrishJohnGames studio combined action, adventure and strategy in the project:
Start your journey as a humble captain of an ordinary ship. Finish as an admiral of a formidable fleet. Succeed by any means. Trade, fight, recruit, grow, plunder, create alliances, destroy and conquer.
In Rise of Piracy, you can also play the role of a simple merchant — hundreds of goods are presented in the world. More than 30 different ships are available to form a fleet: "from a light and fast Carousel to a huge firepower, but limited maneuverability of a 120-gun battleship."
The first reviews of Rise of Piracy on Steam are "mostly positive" — the project is in early access and some players found it "raw".
