Highguard has lost most of its audience, but some interest in the project still remains.
However, even fans of the online shooter periodically criticized the "looting phase" — for some time, players were simply invited to run around the map and look for equipment in chests. The developers took this criticism into account and introduced a new game mode at the end of February.
Now in Highguard you can play Raid Rush: matches are held in a "5 on 5" mode and without the loot collection phase, equipment can be improved through a merchant. After each round, the sides switch places:
Attackers become defenders, and defenders become attackers. The walls and generators of the base are restored, and you are credited with some currency to spend at the merchant, whose assortment will change after each round. And don't worry about armor — everyone has the same one, rarity will increase as the rounds progress.
