This year, thanks to the "Raise the Sails!" tabletop role-playing game, players will be able to participate in duels on the captain's bridge, witness battles of entire fleets and intrigues in ports, carry out daring raids on coastal fortresses, and explore new lands.
The "Red Librarian" publishing house announced that pre-orders have opened on the CrowdRepublic crowdfunding platform for "Raise the Sails!" — a tabletop role-playing game about pirates, gentlemen, and ladies of fortune.
Currently, the hardcover rulebook can be purchased for 2000 rubles, its premium version for 2900 rubles, character booklets and forms for 1000 rubles, a treasure map for 600 rubles, two kegs for 1800 rubles, and a treasure chest for 8900 rubles.
This tabletop game is designed for 3–6 participants and fans of "Treasure Island", "The Adventures of Captain Blood", "Pirates of the Caribbean", and even One Piece. It will allow players to immerse themselves in stories full of adventure and maritime romance.
Players will be able to assemble their own pirate crew, prepare a ship, and set off into uncharted waters — to meet famous captains and terrifying monsters, discover new lands, defeat the Leviathan, and become legends themselves.
One of the players will take on the role of a cartographer: they will guide the narrative, describe the surrounding world and secondary characters, arrange trials for the pirates, and announce when to roll the dice. The remaining participants will create their own heroes, who will become the central characters of the adventures.
Delivery of the "Raise the Sails!" TTRPG is scheduled for November 2026. If the team raises 400 thousand rubles, each pre-order participant will receive a set of four postcards with player principles and antique illustrations as a gift. Upon reaching 500 thousand, an additional backstory booklet.
When the collection amount exceeds 700 thousand rubles, everyone who supported the project will receive a dust jacket that turns the main book into a real ship's log. On the outside, it will have fields for the type, goals, characteristics, and other parameters of the ship, and on the back — a memo with ship moves. These covers will be exclusive to the pre-order and will not be available for open sale.
If they manage to collect 800 thousand rubles, each participant will receive an additional booklet of ship positions, and upon reaching 1,000,000 rubles, the "Red Librarian" employees will take over the delivery of awards within the Russian Federation (in other words, free delivery in Russia).
