Recently, a major update with new content was released for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. Simultaneously, Saber Interactive introduced the Chapter Voice Pack 1 add-on.
Buyers expected sets of special phrases related to specific missions, as well as voice acting that would take into account the presence/absence of a helmet on the character. However, the quality of the DLC greatly disappointed players, and it received "very negative" reviews.
Now, dissatisfied Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 fans are trying to find a way to get their money back (usually, store policies do not allow refunds for DLC):
As some people have already mentioned, the Chapter Voice Pack 1 DLC... is disappointing. The voices do not contain lines related to specific missions, and instead use standard Ultramarines phrases when interacting with objectives. In addition, there is no filter to simulate the sound of a helmet. And to top it all off — "This product is not refundable," as reported on PSN. Looks like I rushed into buying it.
