Recently, Owlcat Games reminded about Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy. The developers took part in IGN Fan Fest 2026 and prepared a gameplay trailer for the alpha version of the game.
In this party-based cRPG, players take on the role of an acolyte of the Inquisition:
Investigate heresy, take command of a diverse squad, and determine the fate of the Calixis sector in a game with a deep story where every decision matters, justice does not exist, and the line between salvation and fall is almost illusory. Learn more about the Inquisition and the power it possesses: power, bureaucracy, and internal conflicts will appear before you as never before. You are the Inquisitor, and your main goal is to protect the Imperium by any means necessary.
