Polish studio Starward Industries is preparing a new project. Their game The Invincible, an adaptation of Stanislav Lem's novel, received high praise at the time - 88% positive reviews.
The team showed a trailer with gameplay elements of Into the Fire. The player, as a rescuer, tries to survive during the apocalyptic eruption of a mega-volcano and save as many people as possible. The game is also based on collecting loot in dangerous zones, and the developers call it an "extraction survival".
At the same time, recruitment of participants for the following rounds of playtests on PC has begun on Discord. The release is scheduled for 2026, initially in early access.
