Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 to be Next-Gen Exclusive and Completely Change Style - Insider

An insider reported that the release of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 has been significantly delayed because the team wanted to make the game exclusive to next-gen consoles and completely rework the graphics style.

When Dragon Ball Project: Age 1000 was announced a few weeks ago, most fans assumed it was just the codename for Xenoverse 3. Confirmation came when Bandai Namco accidentally added the Age 1000 trailer to a playlist labeled Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3.

According to insider Sofian Le GEEK, Xenoverse 3 was initially only supposed to be slightly prettier than the second part, but the developers decided to completely improve the art, redoing everything "from scratch." This led to a significant delay and the abandonment of the release on PS4 and Xbox One – the game will be exclusive to the current generation.

It is also known that Xenoverse 3 will offer online and single-player modes. The game will retain the spirit of the previous installments, but with graphics "at the level of Age 1000," where the characters look alive, not like figurines.
