Resident Evil Requiem was recently released. Capcom introduced the heroine Grace, to whom some players have complaints.
Blogger El_Locon_Gamer decided to recall past characters from the Resident Evil franchise and compare them with the newcomer — he really doesn’t like Grace:
According to El_Locon_Gamer, Grace is the worst new character from the latest Resident Evil games.:
She is the most unprepared FBI agent I have ever seen: weak, easily frightened, and has no charisma. This is a character created for a modern audience: flat, boring, and completely unsexy.
Not everyone supported the blogger's vision. Participants in the discussion noted that although Grace is from the FBI, she works in the office ("paperwork"). AltriaNarsil expressed the opinion that she seems to be one of the most "natural" characters in recent years.
