New content will be added to the game soon.
The creators of Battlefield 6 have released a diary dedicated to future plans for the game. They decided to talk about the temporary Nightfall mode (launch scheduled for mid-March).
According to the developers, Nightfall will change the battlefield and affect how players move, interact with allies, and read the situation around them:
As darkness falls on the new map, lines of sight are reduced, the role of sound increases, and coordinated squad actions become more important than ever. Night vision goggles, presented in our roadmap, add a new layer of tactical decisions. This creates a special tension — more tactical and deeply immersive in the atmosphere of battle, and we look forward to seeing how you perform in the dark.
In addition to the Nightfall mode, the update will include other changes, for example:
In the next phase of Season 2, we are implementing targeted changes aimed at making the overall pace of progression smoother and reducing unnecessary grind. Weapon Mastery progression will become faster and more stable
They will also fix the marking (ping) system, due to which enemies detected by the reconnaissance drone did not always remain marked for squad members. Later in the season, other improvements are planned "aimed at improving readability, reducing visual noise and improving the perception of marks within the squad."
