The developers of Bus Flipper: Renovator Simulator faced some questions.
Last summer, Bus Flipper: Renovator Simulator was released on PC in Steam. In this simulator, players are invited to remodel buses, for example, into a mobile cafe or a camper.
However, in 2026, Bus Flipper was removed from Steam for copyright infringement. The developers then contacted Valve and made changes to the game:
We want to be completely honest with you about what happened to the game. In short: after the last update, the page was removed from Steam due to copyright infringement. Let us explain the situation: we were making a fan parody, got very carried away with the idea... and perhaps overdid it a bit with some elements. We received a DMCA notice and fully acknowledge that the responsibility lies with us. Everything is fine now — the problem has been resolved, and we are just waiting for Steam to check everything and restore the page.
In early March, Bus Flipper: Renovator Simulator returned to sale on Steam.
The developers have learned from the situation and are "carefully removing everything that could cause problems in the future."
