Players noticed a ring on Leon Kennedy's finger in Resident Evil Requiem and concluded that the character got married. This sparked a discussion about who he chose—Ada Wong or Claire.
In a conversation with PC Gamer, voice actor Nick Apostolides shared his vision for the character's future:
I would like him to finally settle down a bit, maybe open an ice cream shop. I think he deserves a little rest and vacation, and of course, sometimes he can chase zombies.
When the interviewer asked him who he would like Leon to finally settle down with, the actor did not give a definite answer:
I don't know, I think I might get into big trouble if I say this—half the fans will want to hang me.
When asked if he liked Ada, he confessed:
I like Ada too. Hate her as much as you want, but Leon wouldn't be alive if it weren't for her. She saved him three or four times.
