Recently, data miners noticed that identifiers for Grand Theft Auto VI had appeared in the PlayStation Store. Soon, some players decided to take advantage of this.
Thanks to a bug with the game ID, they were able to add a record to their profile, as if they had recently played Grand Theft Auto VI for some time.
Rockstar Games noticed this and closed the loophole in the PS Store:
Rockstar has taken action on the recently leaked Grand Theft Auto VI game IDs and has officially blocked them on PlayStation.
GTA VI is expected to be released in November 2026. Pre-orders have not yet opened.
