The creators of Escape from Tarkov have released update 1.0.2.5. It includes balance tweaks, as well as many technical improvements.
The developers continue to speed up the game: it will take less time to start a raid.
Some changes and new features:
- Changes have been made to the mechanisms for launching game servers, aimed at speeding up the raising of rooms for matches and getting players into raids;
- Changes have been made to the mechanisms for completing a raid and displaying post-raid statistics, aimed at speeding up unloading from the raid after it ends;
- Optimizations have been made to the launch speed of the game client and menu loading;
- Added a permanent display of the "Zubr" departure timer in the final part of the Terminal;
- The DLSS version has been updated to 4.5, and support for new presets has been added.
The parameters of most modules for weapons — muzzle devices, magazines, grips, stocks — have been changed:
Our goal was to reduce the difference in characteristics between the most popular, high-level modules and those that are currently practically not used.
For example, magazines, which are the only available option for compatible weapons — like a box for machine guns — now have much softer penalties to ergonomics and loading/checking speed.
