A role-playing game inspired by the classics of the genre is showing unexpectedly strong results in the Valve store. At the time of publication, Esoteric Ebb is in 12th place in the list of Steam bestsellers.
The game is receiving high marks: the average user rating is 96%. In the first reviews, it is compared to Disco Elysium, and some players write that it is "Disco Elysium in an epic fantasy setting."
Critics are also giving high marks. PC Gamer called the project the "best RPG of 2026" and a "worthy successor to Disco Elysium."
The game received 9.5/10 from CGMagazine, 9.3/10 from RPGFan, and 9/10 from TheSixthAxis. The average rating on Metacritic is currently 8.8/10.
There is only one caveat – the game has a lot of text and there is no translation into Russian.
