Since 2018, the board game "Dice Throne" has been delighting people with vivid matches in which participants have to roll their heroes' dice, use combinations of the resulting symbols and numbers to activate the characters' abilities, and also attack their opponent.
Over eight years, the project has managed to acquire numerous expansions and also earn a 7.6 out of 10 rating on BoardGameGeek. As early as April 14, 2026, a campaign for the digital version of this board game, titled Dice Throne Digital, is expected to launch on the crowdfunding platform Kickstarter.
To prepare the audience for this upcoming event, the studio Nerd Ninjas released a short video showing the game's starting character roster.
Judging by the footage, on PC, iOS, and Android, users will be able to play as the Barbarian, Moon Elf, Shadow Thief, Pyromancer, Monk, Paladin, Ent, and Ninja.
Only duel battles are currently listed on the Dice Throne Digital Steam page, but many gamers are confident that over time the team will add other battle formats as well — 2x2, 3x3, 2x2x2, and "free-for-all."
