If there are no worthy rivals, the state will begin to decline.
The authors of the global strategy Europa Universalis V presented a major update 1.1 in March. It eliminates a number of errors, and also includes additional gameplay mechanics.
Some new features:
- Added several new units, including: Saxon Defenders (Saxon culture), Prussian Grenadiers (Prussia), Bavarian Jaegers (Bavaria), Hessian Jaegers (Rhine-Franconian culture), Border Hussars (Austria), Pandur Infantry (Austria, Croatia), Mountain Rifles (Danubian/South Bavarian and Swiss cultures).
- Added "templates" for the fleet and army
- Now the game has a rule that determines how aggressive the AI will be.
- New peace treaties have appeared
- EU V now supports 7 different speeds.
- Added Complacency Mechanic. The indicator mainly increases due to the lack of threatening rivals and decreases when losing wars. Upon reaching 100%, there will be debuffs: an increase in the "decline" of the army, people will be more active in joining the rebels, and research will worsen.
In addition, the authors of Europa Universalis V have fixed hundreds of errors, added new illustrations, clothing options, and portrait personalization. The full description of update 1.1 is available at the following link.
