The creators of Counter-Strike 2 have announced changes to the case-opening (loot box) system in Germany. Players will have to use the "X-Ray Scanner".

This scanner will allow players to see the contents of a case before opening it:

The loot box system will change visually, but its essence will remain the same. To scan the next case, a player will first need to purchase the current one, whose contents are already known to them.
