A huge map of the "Korean Witcher" was shown online - the world of Crimson Desert impresses with its scale

According to the developers' estimates, the game's world will be larger than in Red Dead Redemption 2 and Skyrim.

Some journalists and bloggers have already managed to get acquainted with Crimson Desert. Among them was JorRaptor, who invited viewers to take a look at the global map.

The game's events will unfold on the continent of Pywel, which is divided into several regions. Players will be able to travel around the world on foot or on horseback.

A few years ago, Pearl Abyss's PR director described the scale of the world of Crimson Desert this way:

The world is at least twice the size of Skyrim's open world / gameplay-accessible area and is larger than the map of Red Dead Redemption 2. [...] we wanted to create a world that is not only huge, but also incredibly interactive.

JorRaptor's footage proves that this was not an "exaggeration" — players really can expect a vast space for exploration and plenty of gameplay possibilities.

The release of Crimson Desert is scheduled for March 20, 2026.
