Games Workshop and Black Library have announced which books fans will be able to pre-order from March 14, 2026.

Fans will have the chance to get a re-release of "Horus Rising" by Dan Abnett. This is the first part of the epic saga about the Horus Heresy — a galactic civil war that brought humanity to the brink of extinction. The book will return in hardcover and will be supplemented with four illustrations.

It will also be possible to purchase a premium re-release, equipped with a leather-like cover with gold embossing and an inlaid metal medallion, gold edging, and a brown ribbon bookmark. Inside, readers will find artwork, including four black and white illustrations, a full-color cover, and a detailed map of the galaxy.

The novel "Ghazghkull Thraka: Warlord of Warlords" by Danny Flowers will also appear. It tells the story of how Warboss Slitta da Stubba of the Blood Axes finds himself between treacherous allies and the Black Templars. He has to choose a side, because even his own orcs are starting to wonder if it's time to overthrow Ghazghkull Mag Uruk Thraka.

The book will be released in hardcover, as well as in digital format. In addition, you can pre-order a special edition (each copy is uniquely numbered, signed by the author, and equipped with a pleasant-to-touch embossed cover, black edging, an author's afterword, and an orcish green ribbon bookmark).

Astra Militarum fans will be offered the novel "Chem Dog" by Callum Davis, in which a newly minted commissar, along with a notorious penal regiment, must complete an important mission in orc-infested territory.

It will be possible to purchase the collection "Grombrindal: The Legend of the White Dwarf", which includes a novella and seven stories about the white-bearded duardin from various Black Library authors.

In addition, an illustrated and annotated edition of Robert Rath's novel "The Infinite and the Divine", a jubilee edition of James Swallow's "Faith and Fire", and a collection of orcish prose "Green Tide", including two novels, two novellas, and four short stories (in paperback) will become available.

A paperback re-release of Steve Parker's "Deathwatch" will also return. Gav Thorpe's book "Vengeance" will reappear on the shelves. Among other things, it will be possible to get the anthology "Black Library Celebration 2026", containing a selection of five exciting stories from the worlds of Warhammer 40,000 and Age of Sigmar.
