Is Nintendo Already Preparing a New Lawsuit? Pickmon Simultaneously Resembles Pokémon and Palworld

Another game inspired by the Pokémon series will soon appear on the market. We are talking about the Pickmon project, which also clearly relies on the ideas of Palworld.

Nintendo continues to accuse the creators of Palworld of plagiarism and patent infringement, but this does not stop other studios that are trying to occupy a part of the profitable segment. Pickmon has become another attempt – the game combines the ideas of Pokémon and Palworld.

In Pickmon, players explore an open world and collect creatures. Unlike Poké Balls, a card system is used here. The developers emphasize crafting and base development. The game supports multiplayer, cooperative, and PvP. First, the project is planned to be released on PC, then on PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2. You can follow the development on Steam.

However, the project already has problems. The design of some creatures in Pickmon looks so similar to Pokémon that publisher Networkgo risks facing legal claims from Nintendo. Even players are outraged by the appearance of the monsters and accuse the developers of plagiarism.
