The main source of inspiration for the city of Tyndalston was the northeastern US metropolises of the 1990s, New York and Philadelphia. The developers combined realistic urban architecture with gameplay convenience. To do this, they strictly defined the sizes of objects – the width of corridors and the height of passages – to avoid camera problems and simplify navigation.

The artistic concept of the city is based on three ideas: "manifestation," "violence," and "parasitism." The first is expressed in bright elements like huge murals on old buildings. "Violence" is emphasized by the destroyed architecture, and "parasitism" reflects social inequality and injustice in Tyndalston. The authors paid attention to detail and hid many corners for exploration, even if they are not related to specific mechanics.

A separate emphasis was placed on transport. The hero's main car is called Magnum Opus. It was conceived as an ordinary four-door sedan, but later they decided to make the design more aggressive. The developers were inspired by cars of the 90s, but created their own models so as not to depend on licenses.

The driving system will also feature an advanced model of damage and body deformation. Cars will be used not only for transportation, but also for brutal elimination of enemies.
