Nioh 3 Sold 1 Million Copies - Patch 1.04 Released with Free Rewards

Team Ninja has released the largest update to date for Nioh 3. Patch 1.04 is available from March 10 on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam. The update is timed to coincide with an important achievement for the game.

Nioh 3 sales have exceeded 1 million copies. The entire Nioh series has sold over 10 million copies in total.

In honor of this, the developers are giving away a free set of equipment to all players, Thunderous Warrior Armor and Thunderous Ninja Attire. The cosmetic items automatically appear in the box for each active player without additional conditions.

The patch also introduces a number of gameplay changes. The amount of "Glory" received for missions in multiplayer has been increased. The probability of equipment with better characteristics dropping after completing Shogun's Journey has been increased. The amount of materials required for Soul Matching has also been reduced – this is especially important for players collecting the best gear in the later stages.

Cutscenes that previously only displayed at 30 FPS now support 60 FPS. The developers have also fixed a number of bugs related to Martial Arts, the parrying system, bosses, and progress in story and side missions.

Patch 1.04 shows that the developers intend to actively support the game going forward.
