Nintendo Switch 2 without digital garbage? eShop has a strict selection of games

Original Nintendo Switch owners know the problem: the eShop has turned into a warehouse of digital junk. The Japanese giant has taken these mistakes into account and implemented a strict game selection policy for the Nintendo Switch 2.

Instead of a stream of cheap projects and AI games, Nintendo is betting on strict selection so that the platform's virtual shelves are not overloaded.

New Blood Interactive CEO Dave Oshry spoke about the strategy. He noted that their hit Dusk runs on the new hardware at 120 FPS. At the same time, the studio is still awaiting approval – the Japanese corporation has become extremely selective in certifying releases.

Despite the tightened process, relations with developers remain excellent. Oshri notes that Nintendo supports cooperation, which gives hope for an orderly and high-quality digital store on Switch 2.
